Qualifications

We are looking to hire a Human Resources Business Partner immediately at our Hunt Valley Plant.

Under the direction of the Site HR Director, the HR Business Partner is responsible for the day-to-day administration of HR policies and programs. The HRBP performs duties in areas such as employee relations, training, employee communications and engagement, performance management, recruitment and staffing, law compliance, and benefits administration. In this role, you will drive business results while delivering measurable goals within your site and implementing HR initiatives and programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster a collaborative culture, advance key capabilities, and offer guidance on complex HR issues with minimal supervision
  • Gain a deep understanding of business strategies and implications for the HVP site
  • Coach managers on people management skills and contribute to their leadership development
  • Lead employee engagement activities within the HVP site and bring best practices from other companies or HR networks
  • Support managers and the Talent Acquisition team in attracting, developing, and retaining talent
  • Support performance and talent management processes within the HVP site
  • Partner with Centers of Expertise (COE) to align business programs with HR strategies
  • Implement function-wide HR programs at the HVPlocation
  • Facilitate change management efforts within assigned regions or functions
  • Ensure managers meet people objectives aligned with business goals
  • Support the HR Shared Services model and collaborate across the Supply Chain HRBP network
  • Assist in interpreting and administering HR policies, procedures, and programs, emphasizing safety, engagement, quality, productivity, and workforce development
  • Develop job descriptions with Talent Acquisition and work with hiring managers on candidate screening, interviewing, and calibration
  • Support onboarding processes and ensure timely enrollment in benefits and completion of paperwork
  • Maintain and update employee records and generate reports for site metrics
  • Perform employee relations functions, including conflict resolution and investigations
  • Support all HR activities and duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
  • 3+ years of HR Generalist experience, with at least 1 year in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of employment law practices and compliance
  • Effective communication, critical thinking, organizational skills, and high attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work across two shifts to meet business demands
  • Ability to adapt to change and work with deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to articulate policies clearly to employees at all levels
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • High confidentiality standards
