Betterment is seeking an HR Business Partner to align people strategies with business priorities in our NYC office. You’ll partner with leaders to shape organization design, compensation, talent management, and employee relations across the company.
This role is based in New York with a hybrid schedule (four days in-office, with occasional remote options). The base salary ranges from $110,000 to $130,000, with potential incentive bonus and a broad benefits package.

We’re a team with a broad range of HR knowledge and skills, always growing and learning, looking to each other and the HR community for inspiration and guidance. As a member of the team you’ll have the opportunity to participate in a broad range of HR initiatives, provide consultation to designated business units, provide HR support and guidance to employees, and partner with leaders to define and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives.
This role is based out of our NYC office. The base salary range for this position is New York City: $110,000 – $130,000. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Betterment’s total compensation package for employees. This job may also be eligible for variable compensation in the form of a company incentive bonus.
