Job summary

Pace, a leader in environmental science services, seeks an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to advise management and serve employees across functions. You will drive HR programs, employee relations, and talent initiatives to support organizational success.

The ideal candidate has a strong business acumen, a passion for people development, and a collaborative approach to building a positive workplace culture. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Missouri.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Five or more years of progressive HR experience.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to implement and support HR programs that drive business performance and operational success.
• Provide guidance and coaching on employee relations matters, performance management, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning.
• Support talent acquisition efforts, employee development initiatives, succession planning, and talent management programs.
• Assist leaders in interpreting and applying company policies, employment laws, and HR best practices.
• Conduct thorough and objective investigations into employee concerns and recommend appropriate resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with leaders to implement and support HR programs that drive business performance and operational success.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Analyze workforce and HR data, prepare reports, and provide insights to support business decisions.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Five (5) or more years of progressive professional Human Resources experience.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.

• Ability to build trusted relationships with managers and employees at all levels.
• Strong consultation, coaching, and influencing skills.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and resolving employee relations matters.
• Ability to interpret and communicate policies, procedures, and employment regulations.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
