ABB is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to manage day-to-day HR transactions for the Florence, SC and US Service lines. You will partner with local managers to attract, onboard, and retain talent, ensuring data integrity in Workday and related systems.

You will lead talent acquisition for hourly roles, handle escalated HR tasks, and provide coaching on onboarding, disciplinary actions, and separation processes. This role requires 5+ years in HR and US compliance knowledge.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in HR roles with operations and process, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of US Employment law and OFCCP requirements relevant to the US.
• Experience with Workday and HR tools like SAP and MS Office.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Based at the Florence, SC facility with US work authorization.

As an HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for day-to-day HR transactions for one or several assigned service lines (Employee Life Cycle, Onboarding, Payroll, and People Analytics), while managing complex and escalated tasks, in Electrification Service in Florence, SC and US Service organization, ensuring accurate and timely processing of information of all stakeholders and assures quality controls are carried out.

You will partner with our EL Service business to attract, develop, and retain the appropriate workforce to effectively implement our business strategy. In this role you will ensure data integrity in Workday and HRGT through regular audits, and communication with key stakeholders and submission of tickets when data changes are required.

Your Responsibilities:

• Partner and support managers, supervisors, and employees at the Florence, SC facility to understand current issues that can be supported or resolved through HR practices, processes, or policies.
• Talent Acquisition – perform talent partner activities for all hourly roles and hourly onboarding, support other recruitment initiatives involving all salaried positions for the Florence, SC facility and US Service Organization.
• Executes and delivers in assigned areas of responsibility in Workday and other HR tools.
• Handles complex and escalated tasks to ensure a high degree of customer experience.
• Supports Service HRBPs in Workday and IS actions at time of position set up, offer and during the onboarding process.
• Streamline and facilitate the onboarding process in partnership with the hiring manager, HRBP, talent partners to enhance the overall employee experience.
• Executes and delivers HR services in compliance with agreed business processes, KPIs and quality targets in a timely, accurate and customer focused manner, showing an end-to-end responsibility.
• Provides on-demand reports related to business processes where required.
• Acts as point of contact for inquiries regarding HR related topics and delivers support across one or several service line(s).
• Identifies deficiencies of existing business processes and recommends enhancements and/or simplification based on day-to-day experience.
• Identifies training needs and conducts training as needed or requested.
• Serve as an employee advocate and conduct investigations of allegations as needed in adherence to ABB policies and instructions.
• Training and communication to employees and managers regarding HR services, HR strategy, policy, and processes.
• Provide managers and supervisors with coaching and guidance regarding onboarding new employees, disciplinary process, and the separation process in partnership with the Senior HR Business Partner.

Your Background:

• 5+ years of experience in HR, working in HR related roles with operations and process, preferably in manufacturing facility, or a combination of a bachelor’s degree in business from an accredited college or university with 2 years of relevant experience, or associate degree in business with 4 years of relevant experience, or high school diploma with 8 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of US Employment law and OFCCP requirements relevant to South Carolina and US.
• Knowledge of Workday, SAP, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Employee engagement; trainings, recognition, special themed days, etc.
• Strong creative problem-solving skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong tactical execution.
• Position will be based at the Florence, SC facility.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
