Job summary

WEC Energy Group in Milwaukee, WI, is offering a Summer Internship in Human Resources Benefits. The paid internship is full-time during Summer 2027, with an hourly rate of $21.30 and paid holidays.

The role supports the benefits team and provides hands-on experience in benefits administration while rotating between on-site and remote work. You will work with a team of professionals, gain exposure to medical, dental, life, and other benefit programs, and develop interpersonal and project skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year degree program in Business Administration with a focus on HR.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8.
• Relevant coursework in HR or benefits is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support staff on projects while developing benefit knowledge and communication skills.
• Assist with medical, prescription drug, dental, life, time away from work, and pension benefits.
• Travel within the WEC footprint may be required occasionally.
