Job summary

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking an entry-level Human Resources Assistant to support attorney and staff recruiting as well as day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced Los Angeles setting.

You will shape the candidate experience from first interview to day one, helping the firm attract and retain top legal talent while coordinating interviews, offers, and onboarding processes. This role offers real exposure to HR functions in a professional services environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of administrative, HR, or recruiting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, discretion with confidential information, ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Schedule interviews, coordinate interviewer availability, and follow up with candidates.
• Prepare interview materials, including candidate resumes.
• Assist with offer letters and coordinate reference, background, and conflicts checks.
• Process new hire paperwork, coordinate orientation sessions, and keep personnel and I‑9 records compliant.
• Support the Director of HR with benefits enrollment, training, and employee engagement activities.
