Job summary

Stoughton Trailers in Wisconsin is seeking an HR Generalist to act as the first HR contact for employees and visitors. You will support daily HR operations, answer questions on benefits and payroll, and assist with onboarding for multiple plants nationwide.

You will generate regular HR reports, maintain I-9 and E-Verify compliance, and assist with recruiting and employee relations initiatives. This role operates within a collaborative HR team and supports company events and communications.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR administration and employee records.
• Knowledge of Kronos, benefits, and payroll related tasks.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to translate or facilitate Spanish-English HR communications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first HR contact for employees, supervisors, and visitors.
• Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR department.
• Answer questions on benefits, shift changes, promotions, pay changes, and attendance.
• Generate HR reports daily, weekly, or monthly.
• Assist with onboarding for new hires across Plant 5, 6, and 1.
• Process terminations and transfers in Kronos.
• Maintain I-9 documentation and process E-Verify.
• Coordinate employee recognition and company events.
• Support recruiting and employee relations initiatives.
• Distribute notices and communications across plants.
