Job Description
- Provides administrative and recruiting support to the Human Resources department while gaining hands-on exposure to a broad range of HR functions. This position will support recruiting, new hire orientation, I-9 processing, background checks, drug screening, interview coordination, employee communications, and other HR administrative activities. The HR Assistant will work closely with members of the recruiting, HR Business Partner, benefits, and talent development teams and will have the opportunity to develop knowledgeand experience acrossmultiple areas ofHuman Resources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative supportto the HumanResources department, witha primary focuson recruiting andnew hire activities.
- Support the recruitingprocess by assistingwith candidate sourcing, screening, phone outreach, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
- Assist with weeklynew hire orientation, including completing andreviewing I-9documentation and ensuringnew hire paperworkis accurate andcomplete.
- Coordinate and maintainpre-employment backgroundchecks and drugscreening processes, includingtimely data entryand follow-up.
- Provide administrative supportto HR BusinessPartners and otherHR team members, including assisting withHR activities atthe manufacturing plants.
- Provide English/Spanishtranslation and interpretationsupport during orientations, trainings, employee meetings, and other HR-related activities.
- Assist the Benefits, Talent Development, andRecruiting teams withadministrative tasks, projects, and department initiatives.
- Maintain accurate andconfidential candidateand employee recordsand assist withHR reporting anddata entry.
- Provide professional andresponsive support tocandidates, employees,managers, and visitors, directing questions tothe appropriate HRteam member whenneeded.
- Perform other dutiesas assigned by the company.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Associates/Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or related area or equivalent experience preferred.
- Recent graduates and candidates early in their HR careers are encouraged to apply.
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with candidates, employees, and managers.
- Comfortable making phone calls and communicating with candidates and employees.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information.
- Ability to learn and navigate HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
- Previous manufacturing or HR experience is a plus but not required.
