Florida Crystals is seeking an HR Assistant to support the HR and Operations teams at the Okeelanta facility. This role emphasizes compliant HR practices, employee relations, onboarding, and payroll inquiries in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years in HR support, a relevant degree, and the ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish. The position involves collaboration with production staff and management, with occasional plant visits.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting HR operations in industrial settings.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Familiarity with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily administrative support to HR Department.
• Address employee inquiries regarding employment, benefits, payroll and HR matters.
• Assist in recruitment processes: posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and background checks.
• Support onboarding and safety training for new hires.
• Maintain confidential employee records and HR-related documents.
• Support investigations and resolution of employee relations issues with HR management.
• Assist with compliance documentation (EEO, ADA, COBRA) as required.
• Coordinate engagement initiatives and training for operational staff.
