Volunteers of America Los Angeles is seeking an HR Compliance Assistant I to support day-to-day HR operations within the Compliance team. You will triage emails, assist Benefits, Classification & Compensation, and Employee Relations, and help with records management.
Responsibilities include data entry into HRIS, archiving documents, processing verifications, and assisting with audits and record requests. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; fingerprint clearance required.

As part of the HR Compliance Team, the Human Resources Assistant I - Compliance will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department
The essential functions are those key requirements, specific tasks, and job duties of the position that are required on a regular basis (using action words such as perform, responsible for, deliver, develop, etc).
As service providers to the underprivileged and vulnerable in our community, all employees are considered Mandated Reporters, and must report any instance of physical or sexual abuse to proper authorities.
