Dan Wolf Automotive Group is seeking a reliable, approachable HR Assistant to join our growing Human Resources team. The role will assist with recruiting, onboarding, employee records, HR administration, and compliance.

Salary ranges from $40,000 to $60,000 per year with 20–30 hours per week to start. A formal 90-day workload evaluation will determine future scheduling and responsibilities based on business needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR experience or relevant internship preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Post and maintain job openings and assist with candidate screening.
• Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Complete and track background checks and pre-employment requirements.
• Prepare and coordinate new-hire paperwork and onboarding.
• Assist with HRIS and system setup and maintain accurate employee records.
• Assist with employee offboarding and related documentation.
• Respond to routine employee questions and provide professional support.
• Maintain HR files, spreadsheets, and new-hire/termination reports.
• Track policy acknowledgments and compliance-related deadlines.
• Assist with handbook and policy updates.
• Maintain and track uniform inventory.
• Provide general administrative and HR support as needed.
