Job summary

The Judicial Council of California is seeking a Human Resources Analyst within the Human Resources office to support data analysis and risk assessments for the JBWCP. The role collaborates with the Senior HR Analyst on related projects and helps interpret workers’ compensation claim data to drive improvements for member courts.

This journey-level position focuses on developing actionable metrics, reporting to stakeholders, and providing recommendations to enhance claim prevention and training

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and three years of professional HR experience; additional related experience may substitute for the degree.
  • Juris doctor with a focus on employment law or master’s degree in HR/organizational development may substitute for the degree.
  • Two years as an Associate HR Analyst or equivalent experience in a California government entity may substitute for the degree.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data analysis and risk assessments to produce actionable metrics and reports for the Supervising Analyst and JBWC stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Senior HR Analyst on related projects and oversee claims handling with internal and external vendors.
  • Create training sessions and resources to provide general knowledge of workers' compensation and mitigating workplace hazards.
  • Provide recommendations to member courts to improve claim prevention strategies.
