Job summary

Global Payments is seeking an AI Lead to drive the integration of artificial intelligence across our HR transformation agenda. The role shapes and delivers the HRAI roadmap, ensuring systems, processes, and data foundations support AI-driven capabilities with governance and ethics in mind.

As part of the HR Transformation team, you’ll work across HR, IT, Data, Risk, and external vendors to embed AI into core HR services and modernize our operating model.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in AI, emerging technology, and risk & compliance.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing AI.
• Experience working cross-functionally with legal, compliance, risk, IT, and business teams to embed ethical and regulatory standards into AI initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the HRAI roadmap aligned to broader business and HR strategy.
• Identify, prioritize, and build business cases for AI use cases across HR functions.
• Translate emerging AI capabilities into practical HR applications.
• Drive end-to-end delivery of HRAI initiatives from concept through deployment and scaling.
• Partner with HR systems teams to ensure platforms are AI-ready and integrated.
• Oversee implementation of AI-enabled tools such as copilots, chatbots, and workflow automation.
• Ensure HR data, processes, and systems are structured to support AI and automation.
• Define data quality, taxonomy, and knowledge management requirements for AI agents.
• Work with enterprise AI and data teams on integration and scalability.
• Establish AI governance, ensure regulatory compliance, and mitigate bias.
