We are seeking a motivated, data-driven, and resourceful Human Resources Advisor to join our team. As an HR Advisor, you will partner with various HR functions to deliver effective consultative solutions supporting HR Business Partners, leadership, staff, and the HR team to achieve organizational goals.
This is a remote position, working from a home office with occasional travel, reporting to the HR Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR services and support to Business Units across North America.
- Partner with HRBPs and leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives, focusing on performance management, employee engagement, workforce planning, and talent management.
- Consult on HR best practices and support smaller business units to improve efficiency and success.
- Support organizational HR goals, identify process improvements, and recommend strategies to enhance employee morale and performance.
- Resolve employee relations issues, including promotions, transfers, coaching, and terminations.
- Advise on personnel issues and administer disciplinary procedures as needed.
- Support HR activities related to Mergers & Acquisitions.
- Manage and support the performance review process, develop training programs, and maintain HRIS systems like WorkDay.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR management, business, communications, or related field, plus at least 3 years of HR experience, or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience analyzing internal processes to identify risks and improvements.
- Strong communication skills with leadership, staff, and peers.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Preferred Skills
- HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
- Experience with Mergers & Acquisitions.
- WorkDay HRIS experience.
- Ability to balance tactical and strategic priorities.
- Experience working remotely.
