Description du poste

Building Blocks Facades is a specialty architectural facade manufacturer based on Florida's Space Coast, producing GFRC, UHPC, and architectural glass facade systems for landmark buildings across the country. With roughly 140 team members working across Facade Design, Manufacturing, 3D Printing, and R&D, BBF combines the precision of a manufacturing floor with the creativity of an architectural studio. We're looking for an organized, people-oriented HR Administrator to help keep our People & Culture function running smoothly as we grow.

Position Summary

The HR Administrator is an entry-level, in-office role based at our Merritt Island headquarters, providing day-to-day administrative support across the employee lifecycle — from recruiting and onboarding to records management and internal communications — while also serving as the friendly first point of contact at our front desk. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their HR career to build a broad foundation across compensation, compliance, employee relations, and HR systems, working closely with experienced People & Culture team members.

What You'll Do
  • Support the recruiting process: post open positions, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and coordinate candidate communication
  • Prepare new hire paperwork and assist with onboarding logistics, including orientation scheduling and first-day setup
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HRIS including personnel files, appraisals, and e-signature workflows
  • Help administer PTO requests, attendance tracking, and other time-off processes
  • Draft and format internal HR documents such as policy memos, announcements, and orientation materials, following BBF's branding standards
  • Respond to routine employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and procedures, escalating complex issues as needed
  • Assist with compensation and benefits administration tasks, including data entry for wage and benefits changes
  • Support compliance efforts by helping track required certifications, training completions, and policy acknowledgments
  • Coordinate logistics for employee engagement activities, trainings, and company events
  • Provide general administrative support to the People & Culture team as priorities arise
  • Staff the front desk as the first point of contact for BBF: greet guests, vendors, and candidates warmly and professionally
  • Notify the appropriate BBF team member promptly when their guest arrives
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming People and Culture calls to the main office line
  • Manage sign-in procedures in accordance with site safety and security requirements
  • Keep the front lobby and reception area tidy and presentable
  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages; coordinate outgoing shipments
What You'll Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of HR, administrative, or office support experience
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort handling confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; willingness to learn HR systems such as Odoo and ADP
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
  • A collaborative, service-minded approach — you enjoy helping people and solving problems
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Reliable, in-person presence at our Merritt Island headquarters
Nice to Have
  • Exposure to manufacturing, construction, or architectural industries
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms or applicant tracking systems
  • Bilingual – Fluent in Spanish and English
