Caravita Clinic & Education Center in Mission Hills, CA is seeking compassionate veterinarians to join our nonprofit spay and neuter clinic opening at the Paws for Life Innovation Center. Flexible scheduling from one day per week to full-time, with full benefits for full-time positions. We welcome experienced HQHVSN surgeons or veterinarians eager to develop their skills.

Training with Dr. Angelina Piccoli, an HQHVSN expert, may be available for candidates who commit to at least two days a week

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree and California veterinary license.
• Strong surgical fundamentals and commitment to patient safety.
• HQHVSN experience preferred; training pathway available for those interested.
• Collaborative mindset and passion for expanding access to preventive veterinary care.

Responsibilities

• Perform spay and neuter surgeries for dogs and cats using HQHVSN techniques.
• Assess patients’ suitability for surgery and oversee individualized surgical care.
• Work closely with the veterinary team to maintain anesthesia, pain management, and recovery standards.
• Support an efficient, collaborative clinical environment prioritizing patient safety and compassionate care.
