Job summary

Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Scientist for a contract position with a cell and gene therapy client in Philadelphia, PA. The Scientist will contribute to the development and execution of quantitative ion exchange chromatography analysis of adenoviral particles, and collaborate with the APS team under the guidance of the Executive Director of APS.

The position offers 6-12 months duration with potential to extend or go permanent, with compensation at $40–$45 per hour, M-F, 1st shift.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or related field or Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience developing HPLC-based quantitative assays; troubleshooting HPLC instrumentation
• Strong communication, attention to detail and ability to design, execute and interpret experiments

Responsibilities

• Execute quantitative AEX-HPLC sample testing and data generation
• Collaborate to understand products and methods; design experiments to meet data needs
• Improve method performance and workflow; communicate results clearly
• Provide analytical support to cross-functional teams and regulatory submissions
