Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions in Rahway, NJ is seeking a full-time Laboratory Technician to support process development activities. You will handle sample processing, HPLC/UPLC separations, and data analysis, while preparing buffers and maintaining instruments.

Responsibilities include documenting lab activities, reporting findings, and troubleshooting equipment. 1–2 years of laboratory experience and a Chemistry-related degree are required, with US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related science field.
• 1-2 years of laboratory experience.
• Experience in analysis of proteins and polysaccharides using UPLC/HPLC techniques including HPSEC-MALS and UV.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and able to learn quickly.

Job Description

• Support the analytical testing for process development
• Processing of biological samples, HPLC separation, and data analysis
• Preparing buffers, setting up instruments, sterilization, sampling, and cleaning of systems
• Document laboratory activities electronically and enter process data into database.
• Analyze data for samples and report findings to investigators.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs
• Be responsible for following safe laboratory practices and for maintaining the work area in a clean orderly and safe manner

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Chemistry or related science degree
• 1-2 years of laboratory experience
• Experience in the analysis of therapeutic proteins and polysaccharides using various UPLC and HPLC Techniques including HPSEC-MALS and UV.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, hands-on capability, ability to learn quickly and be a self-starter
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictions

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rahway, NJ are encouraged to apply. The compensation range is between $20-25/hr depending on experience level.
