Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Lancaster, PA is seeking a chemist with GMP experience to perform a range of analytical tests and validation activities. The role involves method transfers, compliance documentation, and client-site support as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a chemistry-related bachelor's degree, 2 years of pharmaceutical experience, and strong HPLC/validation skills, with eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or related field.
• 2 years of pharmaceutical experience in a cGMP environment.
• HPLC and validation experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform various type of testing using chromatographic systems, Karl Fischer, UV/Spec, HPLC, IC, IR, ICP, AA, TGP, DSC, PDA, titrators, TLC, and dissolution apparatus.
• Execute specialized analyses and method transfer and feasibility testing.
• Document work as required for GMP compliance.
• Perform tests accurately.
• Troubleshoot method and instrumentation problems.
• Use office and instrumentation specific computer software.
• Develop and execute validation plans.
• Carry out method transfers and feasibility studies.
• Train technical staff.
• Some travel to client sites for technical meetings could be required.

• Perform various type of testing using chromatographic systems, Karl Fischer (Coulometric and Volumetric), UV/Spec, various wet chemistry analyses, HPLC, IC, IR, ICP, AA, TGP, DSC, PDA, auto-titrators, TLC, and dissolution apparatus


• Execute specialized analyses and method transfer and feasibility testing


• Document work as required for GMP compliance


• Perform tests accurately


• Troubleshoot method and instrumentation problems


• Use office and instrumentation specific computer software


• Develop and execute validation plans

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or other related degree concentration


• 2 years of related pharmaceutical experience in a cGMP environment


• HPLC and validation experience


• Authorization to work in the United Statesindefinitelywithout restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information
