Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions in Groton, CT seeks a chemistry-focused professional to support drug substance and drug product development across all phases. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Basic laboratory skills and following procedures accurately.
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated.
  • Experience in GMP laboratory and analytical chemistry.
  • Experience with ELN and data trending.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize analytical methodologies, systems, and processes for drug substance/product development across phases.
  • Prepare and analyze samples using chromatography, spectroscopy, dissolution, and related methods.
  • Support development and optimization of analytical methods (assay, impurity characterization).
  • Execute method qualification, validation, and transfer activities.
  • Conduct degradation, stability, and investigational studies for product evaluation.
  • Assess stability and impurity trends to guide development decisions.
  • Support analytics transfer activities across laboratories and sites.
  • Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot instrumentation.
  • Read SOPs and GMP requirements; ensure documentation integrity in ELN.
  • Demonstrate ownership of quality, safety, and client service expectations.

Job Description
  • Responsible forutilizinganalytical methodologies,systems, and processes to support drug substance and drug productdevelopment throughout all phases.
  • Prepare, setup,and analyze drugsubstancesand/ordrug product samples usinga variety of analytical techniques including chromatography (e.g., HPLC, UPLC, LCMS GC, GCMS, SFC), spectroscopy (e.g., UV-Vis, NMR), dissolution, and other relevant methodologies (e.g., KF, pH, ROI).
  • Support development and optimization ofanalytical methods, including assay, purity, dissolution, and/or impurity characterization approaches asappropriate.
  • Execute method qualification, validation, and transfer activities to support development and commercialization programs.
  • Conduct degradation, stability, and investigational studies tosupport theevaluation ofproduct performance and risk.
  • Assess stability, dissolution, and/or impurity trends to support product and process development decisions.
  • Support analyticalmethodand technology transfer activities across laboratories and development sites.
  • Operate,maintain, calibrate, andtroubleshoot analytical instrumentationunder guidance.
  • Read and understand analytical methods, SOPs, compendial procedures, and GMP requirements whilemaintainingaccuratedocumentation and data integrity within electronic laboratory systems.
  • Demonstrate strong ownership of quality, safety, productivity, organization, and client service expectations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree inchemistry, biochemistry,or other related degree concentration, or equivalentdirectly-relatedexperience
  • Basic laboratory skills and followingwritten procedures, protocols, and work instructions accurately
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keepaccuraterecords, follow instructions, andcomply withcompany policies
  • Experience in GMP laboratory, analytical chemistry
  • Experience witheLNand data trending

  • Position is full-time, working Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00p.movertime as needed
