Job summary

Vireo Systems and pH-D is seeking an Analytical QC Chemist to perform analytical testing and ensure products meet quality standards. You will operate HPLC systems, prepare reagents, and review data for compliance with specifications in a FDA-regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related science.
• 6–12 months analytical QC lab experience in regulated setting.
• Hands-on HPLC operation, sample prep, data interpretation, troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret methods, specs, COAs, and determine material acceptance.
• Strong detail orientation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Clear written/verbal communication; proficient with MS Office & QC software.
• Familiarity with FDA cGMP requirements (21 CFR Part 111).

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing of raw materials, in-process and finished products.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain HPLC systems and related equipment.
• Prepare standards, reagents, mobile phases, and lab solutions.
• Review data for accuracy and compliance with specs.
• Investigate OOS/OOT and atypical results; document findings.
• Maintain electronic records and ensure data integrity per cGMP.
• Assist method verification, validation, and transfer activities.
• Support regulatory inspections and internal audits as needed.
