Job summary

Validation & Engineering Group, Inc. (V&EG) is seeking a talented Chemist to perform analytical testing and laboratory activities in support of quality, compliance, and operational objectives.

The role requires experience with chromatography techniques and regulated lab environments. The successful candidate will operate HPLC, UV, and IR instruments, use Empower software, maintain documentation, and ensure USP/EP compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance healthcare

Qualifications

  • BS in Chemistry (required).
  • 3–5 years of relevant laboratory experience.
  • Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation (HPLC, UV, IR).
  • Working knowledge of chromatography principles.
  • Experience using Empower chromatography software.
  • Knowledge of USP and EP pharmacopeial requirements.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform chemical and analytical testing of samples per procedures and specs.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical lab equipment (HPLC, UV, IR).
  • Execute analytical methods and interpret test results.
  • Use Empower for data acquisition and reporting.
  • Support investigations, method execution, and problem-solving activities.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and comply with procedures and data integrity.
  • Follow USP and EP standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support objectives.
