Job summary

Validation & Engineering Group, Inc. (V&E Group) is seeking a Chemist to perform analytical testing and support quality, compliance, and operations.

The role requires experience with chromatography techniques, analytical instrumentation, and pharmacopeial requirements in regulated labs. The successful candidate will operate HPLC, UV, and IR systems, manage data using Empower, and maintain rigorous documentation while ensuring data integrity and compliance with USP/EP standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
• Three to five years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation, including HPLC, UV spectrophotometry, IR spectrophotometry, and other analytical laboratory equipment.
• Knowledge of USP, EP, and related pharmacopeial requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical and analytical testing of samples in accordance with established procedures and specifications.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical laboratory equipment, including HPLC, UV, IR, and related instrumentation.
• Execute analytical methods and interpret test results.
• Use chromatography data systems, including Empower, for data acquisition and reporting.
• Support laboratory investigations, method execution, and problem-solving activities.
• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and comply with applicable procedures and data integrity requirements.
• Follow applicable pharmacopeial standards, including USP and EP requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support laboratory and business objectives.
