Job summary

Actalent is hiring an Analytical Chemist to provide support for product development and service labs within medical device and pharmaceutical contexts. The role involves using lab instruments to analyze materials for identification, classification, and defect analysis, with work performed in a GMP environment.

The position is onsite in Minneapolis, MN on a contract-to-hire basis, offering a pay range of $30.00–$37.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Materials Science.
• 1+ years of Analytical Chemistry experience (academic or industry).

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical analysis and sample preparation
• Properly document and share results with the team
• Maintain and troubleshoot instruments as needed
• Create new and validate existing methods as necessary
• Comply with all regulations (FDA, EHS, etc) in a GMP lab environment
• Analytical equipment used: chromatography (HPLC, GC, GC/FID, GC/MS), FTIR, UV Vis
