Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a Software Integration Engineer 2 to support integration and operation of software in HPC environments. The role focuses on mission operations infrastructure, including automation, monitoring, alerting, and resiliency of systems.

You will troubleshoot customer use cases and ensure reliable performance across Linux platforms. Responsibilities include deploying COTS/GOTS software, supporting HPC workloads, and developing scripts in Python/Bash/C.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 5+ years substitute allowed.
• 6+ years in Linux-based software integration support.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II or equivalent.
• Strong Linux and scripting (Python/Bash/C).
• Experience with automation, monitoring, and infra tools (Ansible, Salt, Nagios/Thruk, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, integrate, and maintain software in heterogeneous environments.
• Support HPC systems and applications for continuous operations.
• Troubleshoot software/config issues across Linux platforms.
• Assist with automation, monitoring, alerting, and resiliency.
• Assist with customer use case configuration and issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain Python, Bash, or C scripts and tools.
• Use automation frameworks like Salt and Ansible.
• Maintain monitoring/alerting (Nagios/Thruk, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
• Use Git-based repos and collaborate with Jira/Confluence/Slurm teams.
