Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners is seeking a Software Integration Engineer 2 to support the integration and operation of software within high-performance computing environments. The role focuses on mission operations infrastructure, including automation, monitoring, alerting, and resiliency of systems supporting critical workloads.

The ideal candidate will work on Linux-based environments, develop scripts in Python or Bash, and collaborate with teams using Jira, Confluence, and Slurm to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; 5 additional years of experience may substitute.
• Minimum 6 years of experience supporting software integration in Linux-based environments.
• Strong experience with Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, SLES, Ubuntu) and scripting/programming (Python, Bash, C).
• Experience with automation, monitoring, and infrastructure tools (e.g., Ansible, Salt, Nagios/Thruk, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, integrate, and maintain software in heterogeneous environments.
• Support HPC systems and applications to ensure continuous mission operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software and configuration issues across Linux-based platforms.
• Assist with customer use case configuration and issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain scripts and tools using Python, Bash, or C.
• Collaborate with teams using Jira, Confluence, and Slurm for workload management.
