Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners seeks a Software Integration Engineer 3 to support software integration and operation in high-performance computing environments. You will help ensure mission-critical applications run reliably across Linux, UNIX, and Windows systems and work on large-scale HPC operations.

The role emphasizes maintaining performance, reliability, and cross-platform compatibility, leveraging scripting and programming skills to automate tasks and improve system functionality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Minimum 8 years of experience integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, and supporting software in heterogeneous environments.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (or equivalent) is required.

Responsibilities

• Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, and maintain COTS and GOTS software in heterogeneous environments.
• Support HPC systems and applications to ensure consistent operational performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues across Linux, UNIX, and Windows platforms.
• Compile and optimize software for performance and compatibility in production environments.
• Support multi-threaded and parallel processing applications.
• Work with HPC scheduling and resource management software.
• Utilize scripting and programming languages for automation and system functionality.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless software integration across platforms.
• Maintain software configurations using configuration management tools.
• Apply structured troubleshooting methodologies to diagnose and resolve system issues.
