The National Center for Computational Sciences (NCCS) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) seeks a postdoctoral research associate in HPC system architecture and intelligent storage design. The candidate will contribute to research and development in scalable storage, telemetry-driven optimization, and performance analysis for HPC, scientific AI, and edge computing.

NCCS leads in HPC, system architecture, and data analytics, hosting some of the world\'s fastest supercomputers.

Qualifications

• PhD in computer science or engineering with a research track record in HPC/AI/edge systems storage in past five years.
• Ability to work independently to design scalable methods.
• Experience with hardware-software co-design and system telemetry tools.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with internal and external researchers on data and storage research projects for HPC, scientific AI, and edge computing.
• Conduct I/O and storage performance characterization on multi-tier HPC storage systems.
