AT&T Global Public Sector in Columbia, Maryland seeks a High-Performance Computing (HPC) Systems Administrator to support a government IT enterprise. You will install, configure and network Linux and Windows platforms on site at a government location, with no relocation offered.

The ideal candidate has a BS in a technical field with 5 years’ system admin experience (or 10 years in lieu of degree), DoD 8570 IAT II certification, and TS/SCI with polygraph.

Qualifications

• B.S. in a technical discipline and 5 years’ experience as a System Administrator in programs/contracts of similar scope, type and complexity or 10 years’ experience in lieu of degree.
• DoD 8570 IAT II level certification required.
• TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain HPC systems and services: monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.
• Install/configure Linux OS, file systems, and TCP/IP networking; troubleshoot OS and application issues.
• Automate/administer via BASH scripting; compile/install software as required.
