Job summary

Vibrint offers advanced technology solutions and seeks an experienced systems administrator to join our HPC-focused team. You will configure, maintain, and enhance Linux/Unix environments, ensuring reliable performance for mission-critical analyses.

You will support IT infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while adhering to DoD security requirements. A TS/SCI with polygraph clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with OS install, file system config, TCP/IP networking, troubleshooting, BASH scripting, and software install.
• Understanding of HPC architecture and high-speed networks (InfiniBand, Slingshot).
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios, Slurm, Git, Salt, and Ansible.
• Proven troubleshooting skills across diverse systems.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• Minimum five years of system administration experience, or ten years with no degree.
• DoD 8570 IAT II level certification.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Configure and advance Linux/Unix OS, networks, and system software.
• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Assist users with accessing and using IT systems.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 help desk/problem resolution.
• Support day-to-day IT operations and monitoring across devices.
• Escalate and communicate status to agency management and customers.
• Optimize operations and perform capacity planning.
