Job summary

Vibrint is seeking a System Administrator to support HPC infrastructure across multi-vendor clusters and specialized environments. You will install, configure, and maintain Linux/Unix systems, troubleshoot IT facilities, and provide Tier 1/2 support while collaborating with engineers to ensure reliability and performance.

The role requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph and US citizenship. A technical bachelor's degree and 5+ years' sysadmin experience are expected, with DoD 8570 IAT II

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux OS install, file system configuration, TCP/IP networking, configuration, operating system and application troubleshooting, BASH scripting, software compilation and install.
• Technical storage experience.
• Understanding of HPC architecture and high-speed networks (InfiniBand, Slingshot).
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios, Slurm, git, Salt, Ansible.
• Proven troubleshooting skills across unique systems.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• Minimum five years of demonstratable system administration experience or ten years in lieu of degree.
• DoD 8570 IAT II level certification.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain Linux/Unix operating systems and network components.
• Provide IT systems and storage support, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
• Support day-to-day IT operations, monitoring and problem resolution for storage/network devices.
• Demonstrate strong communication and team collaboration.
• Optimize system operations and perform capacity planning.
