Job summary

Vibrint is seeking a System Administrator to support the High Performance Computing program in Lehi, UT. You will configure and maintain Linux/Unix systems, enhance HPC clusters, and support storage and network components on multi-vendor infrastructure.

Candidates must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph and US citizenship. Minimum five years of system administration experience or ten years in lieu of degree; DoD 8570 IAT II certification preferred.

Qualifications

Experience with Linux OS install, file system configuration, TCP/IP networking, configuration, operating system and application troubleshooting, bash scripting, software compilation and install.
Technical storage experience.
Understanding of HPC architecture and high‑speed networks like InfiniBand, Slingshot.
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios, Slurm, git, Salt, Ansible.
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; DoD 8570 IAT II level certification.

Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, and advance Linux/Unix operating systems and loads; troubleshoot and optimize reliability and performance.
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support for systems and storage.
Assist in day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client storage/network devices.
Demonstrate clear communication and contribute to team efficiency.
Perform system capacity analysis and planning to optimize resource usage.
