Job summary

Vibrint is seeking a System Administrator to support the High Performance Computing program in Lehi, UT. You will configure and maintain Linux/Unix systems, enhance HPC clusters, and support storage and network components on multi-vendor infrastructure.

Candidates must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph and US citizenship. Minimum five years of system administration experience or ten years in lieu of degree; DoD 8570 IAT II certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux OS install, file system configuration, TCP/IP networking, configuration, operating system and application troubleshooting, bash scripting, software compilation and install.
• Technical storage experience.
• Understanding of HPC architecture and high‑speed networks like InfiniBand, Slingshot.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Grafana, Prometheus, Nagios, Slurm, git, Salt, Ansible.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline; DoD 8570 IAT II level certification.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and advance Linux/Unix operating systems and loads; troubleshoot and optimize reliability and performance.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support for systems and storage.
• Assist in day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client storage/network devices.
• Demonstrate clear communication and contribute to team efficiency.
• Perform system capacity analysis and planning to optimize resource usage.
