Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma with 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix environments and HPC concepts.
  • Proficiency in C, C++, and Python; familiarity with Anaconda for development.
  • Experience with job scheduling software like Slurm or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support creation of user accounts for high performance computing clusters.
  • Install and compile software in Linux-based clusters.
  • Maintain and operate Slurm scheduling software.
  • Provide technical support and orientations for cluster users.
  • Design and maintain storage and networking within clusters.
  • Co-supervise student assistants.
