Erias Ventures is seeking a Software Engineer to develop, sustain, and troubleshoot the GHOSTGEM suite, including DINO, and future capabilities as mission needs arise.

Role involves implementing, testing, and integrating with COTS, GOTS, and FOSS products, while leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience using the Linux CLI and tools.
• Scripting in Bash.
• Recent Python development experience (3.x).
• Experience with Rust concepts or willingness to learn Rust.
• Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB.
• Experience with Docker and containerd.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience creating Helm charts for deploying services on Kubernetes.
• Familiar with messaging frameworks like RabbitMQ.
• Familiar with CI/CD, GitLab CI.
• Familiar with IaC tools like Ansible.
• Experience using Git source control.

Responsibilities

• Develop, sustain, and troubleshoot the software suite (GHOSTGEM: DINO and future capabilities).

Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer who shall be responsible for developing, sustaining, and troubleshooting GHOSTGEM's software suite of applications including DINO and possibly future capabilities as mission needs arise. Software development activities include implementation, testing, and integration with other COTS, GOTS, and FOSS products, packages, and libraries.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance (within 7 years) is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience

Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity or bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity or nine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Required Skills

• Experience using the Linux CLI and Tools
• Experience developing scripts using Bash
• Recent Python (3.x) software development experience
• Experience with Rust programming concepts, or a willingness and aptitude to learn Rust
• Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerd
• Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
• Experience creating Helm Charts to deploy containerized services on Kubernetes
• Familiar with Messaging Frameworks including RabbitMQ
• Familiar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI
• Familiar with IaC principles, methodologies, and tools such as Ansible
• Experience using Git Source Control System

Desired Skills
