Erias Ventures, LLC in Annapolis Junction, MD seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain a scalable software platform for mission-focused systems. The role emphasizes Kubernetes, Rust, and Python to deliver robust solutions.

The engineer will operate in a security-conscious environment with Top Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance requirements, collaborating with teams across Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, NoSQL, CI/CD, and IaC practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus five (5) years of SWE experience or Bachelor's degree plus seven (7) years of SWE experience or nine (9) years of SWE experience in similar scope.
• Experience using the Linux CLI and Tools.
• Experience developing scripts using Bash.
• Recent Python (3.x) software development experience.
• Experience with Rust programming concepts, or a willingness and aptitude to learn Rust.
• Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerd.
• Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
• Experience creating Helm Charts to deploy containerized services on Kubernetes.
• Familiar with Messaging Frameworks including RabbitMQ.
• Familiar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI.
• Familiar with IaC principles, methodologies, and tools such as Ansible.
• Experience using Git Source Control System.

Responsibilities

• Develop, sustain, and troubleshoot GHOSTGEM's software suite of applications including DINO and possibly future capabilities as mission needs arise.
• Implement, testing, and integration with other COTS, GOTS, and FOSS products, packages, and libraries.

Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer who shall be responsible for developing, sustaining, and troubleshooting GHOSTGEM's software suite of applications including DINO and possibly future capabilities as mission needs arise. Software development activities include implementation, testing, and integration with other COTS, GOTS, and FOSS products, packages, and libraries.

Clearance

A current Top-Secret/SCIwith polygraph security clearance (within 7 years) is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.

Experience
