Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Network Engineer to assist roll-out and maintain critical applications and services. You will work with a senior engineer to resolve escalated issues, and with other engineers to plan and implement complex projects.

Responsibilities include on-site deployment, documenting tests, and collaborating with Product Management for future enhancements. Requires BLE/CE friendly background and strong teamwork in a fast-paced data center setting.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 1+ years of work-related experience in Deep Learning and Machine Learning.
• Familiar with Linux/networking debugging/testing or relevant experience preferred.
• Familiar with data center, enterprise, or telecommunication networking technologies.
• Knowledge with DevOps or in cloud environments, including Docker/Containers and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with workload/scheduler managers (Slurm) for rack/cluster.
• Familiar with MLPerf Training/Inference benchmarks, LLM, HPL-AI or RCCL/NCCL.
• Programming experience with Windows and Linux shell scripting.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute system-level rack tests on GPUs, CPUs, and accelerators with in-house tools.
• Address HPC/AI customer issues and develop robust processes for HPC/AI solutions.
• Conduct concept design and testing, providing optimized benchmarks for HPC/AI.
• Deliver on-site deployment services and post-level 1&2 support.
• Document hardware/software quality issues and feed feedback to product teams.
• Contribute to HPC roadmap planning and software/hardware upgrades.
• Create test plans and automate testing utilities and scripts.
