Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and optimize storage subsystems for HPC workloads. You will work on Lustre and Linux kernel I/O paths, contribute to architecture decisions, and help improve performance across large-scale clusters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Typically 4–7 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Designs enhancements for Lustre subsystems and Linux I/O stacks.
• Analyzes design to identify coding and integration tasks for features.
• Writes and executes testing plans and debugs I/O call stacks and kernel panics.
• Collaborates with software engineers to deliver high-performance storage solutions.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to junior staff.
