Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Durham is seeking a Software Engineer to design and develop the Alletra storage platform. You will implement scalable, multi-threaded C++ services on Linux, debug performance issues, and contribute to distributed storage features.

You will work with cross-functional teams, participate in reviews, and mentor junior engineers. A hybrid work arrangement is offered with relocation flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Typically 6-10 years experience.
• Experience with C++ including STL/Boost and Python.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop software for HPE Alletra, including storage services and data path components.
• Implement scalable, highly concurrent solutions in Linux using modern C++.
• Investigate, debug, and resolve performance issues with profiling tools.
• Contribute to distributed storage feature design focusing on availability and data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust product features.
• Participate in design, code, and test reviews to ensure quality.
• Develop automated tests and validation frameworks.
• Evaluate new technologies to enhance storage capabilities.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and share knowledge.
