Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Software Engineer in Fort Collins, CO. This role is hybrid, requiring about two office days weekly to collaborate on the Alletra Enterprise Storage Platform. You will design and develop software across storage services and data paths, using modern C++ on Linux.

You will work with performance profiling, distributed systems concepts, and cross-team reviews to build scalable, reliable storage features while mentoring peers and driving quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Typically 6-10 years experience.
• Extensive design tool and language experience.
• Strong English communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software for the HPE Alletra Enterprise Storage Platform.
• Implement scalable, highly concurrent C++ solutions in Linux.
• Debug, profile and resolve functional, reliability, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver robust features.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical discussions.
