Job summary

NVIDIA’s Infrastructure Specialists team seeks an experienced HPC Deployment Manager to supervise the delivery of AI HPC data center projects. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team of HPC experts, directing complex deployments with InfiniBand and Ethernet interconnects across academia and industry.

This Senior Manager will manage client engagements, plan and execute large-scale AI/HPC initiatives, and ensure timely project delivery in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT/HPC or related field with 3+ years in a management/leadership role.
• Expertise in HPC system design/configuration and HPC storage.
• Proficiency with low-latency/high-bandwidth interconnects (Infiniband/Ethernet).
• Experience with HPC cluster management and provisioning tools (Slurm, Salt, xCAT).
• Proficiency with OpenMP/MPI/NCCL/HPL and GPUs.
• Strong scripting (Bash/Perl/Python).
• Experience administering Linux/Unix systems (CentOS, Solaris).
• Ability to manage large, complex systems and troubleshoot network issues.
• Experience with multi-vendor hardware/software management and security.

Responsibilities

• Direct HPC engineering functions for design, deployment, and validation of AI HPC systems.
• Lead planning, implementation, and performance of HPC projects; ensure reliable system bring-up.
• Drive hardware/software deployment, develop validation procedures, and testing.
• Lead team activities, drive tests, and develop custom scripts for HPC systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service quality and continuous improvements.
• Mentor and develop team members; support career growth.
• Build relationships with NVIDIA leaders, customers, and partners; stay current with industry innovations.
• Serve as domain authority during planning calls through implementation.
