Job summary

Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited is seeking an experienced engineer to design and scale cloud platforms powering compute-heavy workloads. You will build scalable infrastructure, manage Kubernetes clusters, and drive automation to accelerate deployments across HPC environments.

The role emphasizes Terraform-based IaC, Linux systems, and collaboration with engineering teams to optimize performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud/platform/infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Terraform, Kubernetes and Linux.
• Automation experience using Python, Bash or Go.
• Experience supporting HPC or distributed systems.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, storage and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform and IaC.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters and Linux platforms.
• Automate deployments, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure workflows.
• Improve cloud networking, storage and observability for high-performance workloads.
• Lead cloud migration projects and collaborate with engineering teams to optimize compute environments.
