Job summary

Synergy ECP is seeking a Level III Software Integration Engineer in Columbia, MD to provide expertise in integrating and supporting COTS/GOTS software across heterogeneous OS environments. Applicants must have TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph and U.S. citizenship.

The role spans Linux system administration, scripting, and documentation, with a focus on HPC tools, SLURM, and open-source parallel methods. Strong problem-solving in fast-paced, multi-architecture settings is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of experience in integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting software in a heterogeneous OS environment.
• Five years of related full-time Computer Science work may substitute for a degree with 8+ years experience.
• Professional certification (TT0s) may substitute for 1 year of experience; Master’s Degree may substitute for 2 years.
• Experience as a Linux System Administrator with knowledge of compute, network, memory, storage components.
• Experience writing Bash scripts and diagnosing Linux-based cluster issues.

Responsibilities

• Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS software.
• Generate documentation for the full software stack.
• Update software for sustainment and support.
• Perform basic Linux system administration and shell scripting tasks.
• Work with HPC tools and SLURM for workload management.
