Job summary

Atrium Health CMC HPB Surgery in Charlotte, NC is seeking an engaged Ambulatory Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the HPB Surgery clinic, leading both clinical and clerical staff.

The role requires an NC-licensed RN with BSN, at least 3 years in ambulatory/surgical settings and 1 year of leadership, with emphasis on operations, patient safety, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. Work is 40 hours weekdays 8am-5pm, no weekends.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in North Carolina.
• BSN required.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in an ambulatory, surgical, or specialty clinic setting.
• Minimum 1 year of leadership, charge nurse, or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of clinical operations, patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and team-building skills.
• Experience collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the HPB Surgery clinic and provide leadership for clinical and clerical staff.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and timecards; manage clinic inventory.
• Address patient concerns and participate in leadership meetings.
• Support onboarding, professional development, and workflow improvements.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
