Position: HP - Temporary Upholsterer Cell 1

This role involves assembling, upholstering, and ensuring product quality according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience. Compensation ranges from $18.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on experience. An on-site test will be administered during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities (85%)

• Assemble and upholster various styles of furniture according to customer specifications.
• Operate air-powered tools, drills, staplers, and other hand tools effectively.
• Read and follow instructions on tickets to ensure correct parts are used.
• Handle parts and materials, including squeezing, pulling, and pushing.
• Memorize different furniture styles and recognize stains and parts for assembly and upholstery.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull over 100 pounds as needed.
• Maintain quality and production standards.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations.
• Be available for overtime with minimal notice.
• Cross-train and accept additional duties as required.

Additional Responsibilities (5%)

• Ensure furniture has minimal wrinkles and puckers.
• Deliver finished products that meet quality standards and customer expectations.

Workplace Maintenance (5%)

• Keep the work area clean and organized daily.
• Store parts and tools properly and return tools after use.

Cross-Training (5%)

• Assist with other tasks or departments as needed.
