Description

Summary Job Description

This position is responsible for applying upholstery materials to furniture frames using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and special upholstery tools.

Essential Duties

  • Use various tools to apply padding and upholstery fabric to a wood frame, completing the inside of an upholstered piece of furniture
  • Build pieces so cover is smooth and fits the frame properly
  • Must be able to read and follow production tickets
  • Must be able to line, spot match, 4-way line and tuft
  • Must follow all safety policies and procedures
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Position Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous upholstery experience a plus
