HP Spinner Operator - 2nd Shift

Main Duties & Responsibilities

1. Operate Spinner machine effectively.
2. Change out Spinner tooling as required.
3. Complete Statistical Process Control Charts for spun products.
4. Use control gauges for Spinner inspection.
5. Identify folded necks in cylinders and scrap accordingly.
6. Operate material handling devices such as overhead hoists, cranes, and industrial lift trucks.
7. Establish dimensions for raw materials and in-process parts from drawings, instructions, and standards.
8. Cut raw materials and parts using powered equipment.
9. Support and operate the spinning process line.
10. Set up and operate a 400-ton horizontal press.
11. Deburr, polish, trim, and perform other tasks to produce quality parts.
12. Assist with setup and operation of pre-spin heating ovens.
13. Assist with setup and operation of bottom presses.
14. Train and support various spinning units.
15. Complete written reports related to job tasks.
16. Follow equipment setup procedures.
