Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate Spinner machine and change out tooling as needed.
• Complete Statistical Process Control Charts for spun products.
• Use control gauges for Spinner inspection.
• Identify folded necks in cylinders and scrap accordingly.
• Operate material handling devices like hoists, cranes, and industrial lift trucks.
• Establish dimensions from production drawings, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Cut raw materials and in-process parts using powered equipment.
• Support and operate the spinning process line, including setting up and supporting a 400-ton horizontal press.
• Use equipment for de-burring, polishing, trimming, and other quality tasks.
• Assist in setting up and operating pre-spin heating ovens and bottom presses.
• Train on various spinning units and complete written reports.
• Follow equipment setup procedures and maintain quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience, Competencies, and Education: Possess an education or experience level sufficient to perform the duties effectively.
• Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret relevant documents.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Reasoning Ability: Capable of making decisions to resolve in-process problems and handle various job assignments.
