Overview

HP and 2020 Companies have partnered to hire an HP Retail Sales Associate in your area. In this role, you will assist in driving sales and creating buzz and excitement around the HP brand and products in your local big‑box retailer(s). You will demonstrate products to customers and tailor demonstrations to their ideal needs.

Day-in-the-Life Responsibilities

• Demonstrate HP products at Best Buy
• Engage and build rapport with customers to create a memorable experience
• Maintain professional relationships with store management and staff
• Train retail store associates on HP products and services
• Maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality, and demo-readiness
• Report competitive insights and professional observations

Job Description Responsibilities

• Sell products and services in a retail store, kiosk, and/or event environments
• Maintain professional interaction with customers and fellow employees
• Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis
• Courteously welcome customers and offer assistance
• Direct customers by escorting them to displays; assess needs and suggest products to fit those needs
• Advise customers by providing information on products and services
• Help customers make selections by building customer confidence
• Accurately document and report sales
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations
• Keep workstation/kiosk clean, well‑organized, functional and presentable at all times
• Submit all paperwork completely and accurately

Performance Measurements

• Regular and prompt attendance
• Meet established monthly/weekly sales quota/goals
• Customer/client satisfaction based on rejection percentage and substantiated complaints

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom, or marketing experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solve skills
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Ability to multi-task in a fast‑paced, team environment
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to maintain customer confidentiality
• 1-year job experience required (encompassing retail or customer service)
• Experience training or product demonstration (a plus)
