Zusammenfassung

Cognizant is seeking an HP NonStop Infrastructure Engineer to provide L2/L3 support for mission-critical HP NonStop environments. You will install, configure, monitor, and upgrade Guardian OS/OSS and related components to maintain high availability.

You will perform RCA, automate operations with TACL, NetBatch, NSScheduler, and JAMS, and work within ITIL change processes across multiple data centers. This is a remote USA role with a competitive salary and Cognizant benefits.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with HP NonStop (Tandem) systems.
• 5+ years of Guardian OS and/or OSS administration and support.
• Strong knowledge of Pathway and TMF.
• Experience with SQL/MP and/or SQL/MX.
• Experience with HP NonStop monitoring tools EMS/MEASURE/PTrace.
• Experience troubleshooting Expand, Spooler, batch-processing and related subsystems.
• Experience supporting 24x7 production environments and incidents.
• Understanding of ITIL-based incident, problem and change management.

Aufgaben

• Provide L2/L3 production and infrastructure support for HP NonStop systems.
• Install, configure, administer, maintain, patch, and upgrade Guardian/OSS environments.
• Monitor health, performance, capacity, and availability using EMS/MEASURE/PTrace.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and perform RCA with preventive actions.
• Develop automation using TACL, NetBatch, NSScheduler, and/or JAMS.
• Support availability, fault tolerance, and disaster resilience across data centers.
• Collaborate with teams on performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Adhere to change-management processes (ITIL/CAB) for deployments.
• Document procedures, runbooks, and system configurations.
• Serve as SME during incidents and participate in on-call support.
