Job summary

The Bernard Group, Inc. in Chanhassen, MN is seeking a Digital Press Operator for our online division. This full-time role involves reviewing electronic customer files, prepress checks, loading paper, and maintaining HP Indigo 12000 presses in a fast-paced, employee-owned shop.

Shift: Thu–Sat 6:00 am–6:00 pm; strong attention to detail and self-motivation are essential. We offer competitive compensation and benefits as part of a culture built on ownership, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience operating small or large format press equipment is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Pay close attention to details on every project.
• Basic computer skills including Pace and Google.
• Be self-motivated, a fast learner, and proactive in addressing customer and corporate needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure files and layouts contain the necessary components and are signed off by designer and prepress.
• Prepare and check files to be printable and maximize yield for substrate and print device.
• Print files after quality checks per job ticket specifications.
• Follow company protocols and procedures.
• Perform miscellaneous projects and tasks as requested by management.
